We believe that communities should provide safe, walkable streets; age-friendly housing and transportation options; access to needed services; and opportunities for residents of all ages to participate in community life.

    For 50 years, the Southern Maine Agency on Aging has been the focal point in Cumberland and York counties for resources, services and information to empower older adults, adults with disabilities, and their caregivers to live to their fullest potential.


    Age Friendly Windham is a committee of dedicated volunteers working to help seniors in the community age in place.
